Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

“We are excited and grateful to have a battery backed solar system on our community kitchen and gathering space, thanks to the support of the Solar Moonshot program. This space hosts community meals, a free apothecary, bulk food distribution, food preservation efforts, as well as numerous events, retreats, classes and workshops. We do not charge for any of our offerings, the space is always offered as a gift, so solar helps us keep costs down, and in the event of an emergency, the battery system can provide electricity for community members and neighbors with critical needs.”
