Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

"We have looked at getting solar for our nonprofit for several years, not only to save us thousands of dollars in energy costs, but to preserve our fragile environment. The Solar Moonshot Program was our savior. Without their support we never could have bought the solar panels or the battery, which allows us to store energy during the day to use during PG&E’s highest peak prices during our after-school tutoring programs. Our Center offers one-on-one tutoring with credentialed teachers, which is a real help for our many low-income students - especially those with learning disabilities."
