“We are so grateful to have received this grant, which finally makes possible our dream to solarize our urban farm. Over a decade ago, we renovated our 1930 farmhouse to create office space for our staff. We hoped at that time to include solar as part of the upgrade - budget constraints ended up not allowing it. Over 10 years later, we still hadn't been able to find the extra funds for this project - until Hammond Climate Solutions showed up with a solution. Not only will be able to pay for all of our electricity with our new solar panels, we should also be able to earn some revenue to support our farm programming - it's a win-win!”
