Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

James and Grace Lee Boggs School
“The Boggs School is excited about the solar project because it completes an initiative begun by students while studying energy and alternative sources of energy. They teamed with a local high school class, raised money for the project, and are excited to continue to study the ways in which solar energy can have a positive impact on our school and the Earth. Building the capacity for using solar energy in our building shows students that they can make positive change right now, as young adults, and not have to wait until they are older to begin making a difference in their community! We are indebted to all of the community partnerships that made this possible!”
