Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

“Community Treehouse Center Detroit is excited about the grant from Hammond Climate Solutions supporting our renewable energy rooftop solar systems projects. For our low income residents in the community, sustainability and protecting the environment is their least worry. But with the realization of renewable energy, that drastically reduces or even eliminates their electric bills and protects against rising energy costs. Now, they have the opportunity to pay more attention to the environment because some of the worry is gone about paying their bills. This project will help to produce green jobs for the community and also gives an African American woman the opportunity to connect with community organizations to bring renewable energy and renewable energy programs to as many communities as possible.”
