“Thanks to the Hammond Climate Solutions Foundation’s Solar Moonshot Program, Our Nawakwa is proud to be moving forward with solar energy at Camp Nawakwa,” said Sherry Jasper, Board President of Our Nawakwa, Inc. “Their generous financial support provided the biggest lift in making this solar project possible. With the system now installed and producing clean, renewable energy as of December 18, 2025, we are reducing our environmental footprint while advancing our mission to preserve Camp Nawakwa as a place where youth and community can grow through meaningful outdoor experiences. We are especially grateful to the Chippewa Falls High School Green Team for their hard work, knowledge, enthusiasm, and advocacy. Their support and commitment to sustainability truly brought this project to life.
