Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

Youth Initiative High School
"Youth Initiative High School is full of gratitude and excitement about achieving electrical energy independence at our international boarding house. Our school has been committed to making a small footprint on the earth and a big impact on the world since its inception in 1996. We feel so fortunate to be able to work with our local solar contractor, Ethos Green Power (several of our alumni executed the project as Ethos employee-owners), under the generous auspices of the Solar Moonshot Program. This installation will not only help the bottom line of our utilities budget, but will act as an educational and inspirational piece of our electrical physics curriculum, and, of course, make us more responsible citizens of the world. We hope this project will inspire others in our small rural community to explore and adopt clean, affordable, locally-controlled energy production."
